The @rnzys Auckland Match Championships kicked off well for the 2.0 girls going undefeated in Round Robin 1. However, unfortunately, the rust of lockdown set in and we weren't quite able to hold onto that winning streak heading into round-robin two, losing the first two races. We managed to bring it back winning the remaining of our matches finishing the qualifying round in second place. A few too many penalties and boat handling errors saw us losing to Zak Merton in the Semi-Finals. We then raced Josh Hyde in the Petite Finals.
We were happy to win two-nil and come away with Third place overall for the event. We had an absolute blast at this event and were stoked to have the opportunity to catch up after so long apart! A big thanks to all the volunteers involved for making a great event possible!
