Feels so good to be back out racing again! And what a day for it today was, a fresh breeze but still lots of sun: couldn’t think of any better weather to test our new Musto Australasia kit and visors courtesy of Brandit.kiwi ! Ready to roll straight into round robin number 2 of the NZ Women’s Match Racing Nationals tomorrow.
Day Two
Day two of the Women’s Match Racing Nationals today, and we are stoked with how we’ve been sailing! Tomorrow we are into the finals series, racing against our girls @edge_womens_match for the semis in the morning. Should be a goodie!
Day Three
Wrapped up day 3 of the NZ Women’s Match Race Championships in 3rd place! Today we learnt that gybing the boat without a tiller unsurprisingly doesn’t end well... After a tight, boat breaking, but exciting semis against Edge Women's Match we went on to race Claudia Pierce in the petit finals. Thanks to the Race Management, Umpires and Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS) for an awesome event! Congrats to Samantha Norman and her team for taking out the event!
